Born on September 28, 1996, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Amanda "AMA" de Jesús-Colón learned to dance before she could even walk. At the age of two, she was already part of a dance company, where she trained in classical ballet. She went on to participate in multiple recitals in some of the island's most important theaters, such as Centro de Bellas Artes in Santurce and Guaynabo, as well as El Teatro Tapia in Old San Juan.In addition, she took jazz, hip-hop, belly dance, flamenco, among other types of dance classes. She has also delved into various art forms, such as drawing, painting, photography, and ceramics. This exposure to the fine arts from such a young age cultivated in her a strong attraction and love for them.
